At 43 and a mum of three, Ivanka Trump has a slim and toned physique that many women aspire to have. Not one to keep her workout routine a secret, Ivanka uploaded a video showcasing the dedication she has to stay in shape.
"I thought I’d share a bit about my fitness journey," Ivanka, the daughter of President Donald Trump, noted on her Instagram video.
"Like many women, I used to focus primarily on cardio, yoga, and Pilates," Ivanka began. But she has since shifted her focus onto "weightlifting and resistance training", which she said has been "transformative".
Incorporating weightlifting and resistance training into her workout routine had helped her "build muscle".
Not only that, Ivanka has noticed that her body composition has changed in ways she would never had imagined.

"These are the cornerstones of my workout, emphasising functional strength for life," said Ivanka, emphasising the important of "prioritising form" first, which is "essential" before adding any weights.
This basically means she makes sure she has the correct form when doing all her exercises. "This ensures a safe and steady progression while maintaining the integrity of each movement," she said.
Ivanka now dedicates three to four days per week to strength training while still enjoying a weekly yoga session.

While her new workout routine has made her feel "stronger than ever" and has been a game-changer in getting results, Ivanka still enjoys an active lifestyle.
"[I] love spending time outdoors with my kids and friends playing sports –whether it’s surfing, padel tennis, swimming in the ocean, wake surfing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hiking, walking or golf," Ivanka beamed.
"I also incorporate a couple of short (10 mins), high-intensity interval training sessions (such as sprints) each week to keep my cardiovascular fitness sharp and dynamic."
Ivanka's motivation and dedication to her fitness journey might seem a lot to some, but the results speak for themselves.
