For Dreamville fans, 2025 will mark the end of an era. On Tuesday (Dec. 10), organizers revealed J. Cole’s annual Dreamville Festival taking place next April will be the fifth and final installment of the annual event.
“What a ride it’s been… We can’t thank y’all enough for all the memories we’ve shared,” detailed a statement from the festival’s organizers. “From the very beginning, the idea behind the fest was creating a place where our fans, the Dreamville community, could spend time together, a place where they could see themselves reflected, a place to share in experiences. Let’s run it back one more time in April!”
An Instagram post soundtracked by J. Cole, Lute, and DaBaby’s “Under The Sun” added depth to the announcement with a lengthy caption welcoming “alumni and new pledges to come together one last time.”
“From the moment the idea of a festival took shape, we couldn’t help but wonder: were we in over our heads? Would people come to our home in Raleigh? What would that even look like? We took a leap of faith—breaking ground, making announcements, and even navigating reschedules due to the elements and a world that seemed to be falling apart. Through every challenge and milestone, our community stood by us.”
The fifth-anniversary Dreamville Festival was first announced last month, returning to Raleigh, NC at Dorothea Dix Park, after the 2024 edition brought 100,000 ticketholders to town to enjoy performances from Dreamville artists as well as SZA, Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Key Glock, Lil Yachty, ScHoolboy Q, Sexyy Red, and more.
The 2025 ticket presales will begin on Wednesday, offering two-day GA, GA+, and various VIP packages on the official website. General sales will continue if tickets remain.
