After welcoming her son, Jack Blues Bieber, on August 24, 2024, new mum Hailey Bieber has kept the baby away from the public’s prying eyes. In the interim, she has chosen to double down on her newfound responsibilities by launching a buttery barrier cream under her skincare brand Rhode and doubled down on perfecting her tailored postpartum style.
But on Halloween weekend, the 27-year-old chose to make a rare exemption by posting a teeny-weeny soft launch of the newborn. Indeed, Bieber never shared a photo of their arrival to her grid at the time of the birth. Rather, she left sharing that news to Justin Bieber. Now, Jack Blues has finally made his first appearance to his mother’s 53.7 million Instagram followers with a short but sweet photo of his tiny toes.
In the image shared on Bieber’s Instagram Story, the model-turned-beauty mogul took a photo of the two-month-old sitting in his car seat with an ‘I Voted’ sticker stuck to his petite magenta onesie. “Happy Halloween! Get out there and vote 👻,” Bieber wrote as the caption, encouraging registrations for the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential elections.
Bieber didn’t give us a glimpse of Jack’s costume but did share a photo of her and Kendall Jenner dressed as Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton respectively from their early noughts reality series A Simple Life. So far, the couple has only shared images of Jack’s miniature feet, including a picture of Bieber cradling the newborn in her perfectly manicured digits in their announcement photo.
Bieber had previously spoken out about her apprehension of bringing a child into the spotlight. While speaking to The Times in May 2023, Bieber admitted she was “really scared” about having children. “I literally cry about this all the time!” she said.
“It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child,” she added. Bieber also alluded to her parenting philosophy at the time, sharing that she and her musician husband “can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe.”
