Jade Thirlwall insisted she’s “honouring who she really is” after shocking fans with her new X-rated merchandise.
The former Little Mix star, 31, was celebrating her fourth solo single, Fantasy, and announced her latest collection of merchandise to coincide with the song’s release. Jade released her debut single in July, more than two years after the girl group announced they were taking an indefinite hiatus, and she followed up her first single with Angel of My Dreams over summer, before releasing Midnight Cowboy, which came out earlier this month.
But it was her choice of merchandise that left fans stunned, as she took to Twitter to reveal what she had created in her latest merchandise collection. While the usual t-shirts, hoodies and mugs were available, it was the singer’s Jade X Fantasy Howl Box that grabbed attention. Priced at £75, it included four items: a sleeping eye mask, a candy thong, a butt plug on a keychain, and silicone-based anal lubricant.
“Got another drop for you. Whatever floats your boat I’ve got it for you babe. Fantasy merch is available to pre-order now my lovelies x,” she captioned the post on social media. “BUTTPLUGS???” one shocked fan replied, as another agreed: “Not the butt plug.”
“The anal plugs oh my god I have to stan,” another quipped, as one fan claimed Jade “knows her audience”. They added: “This is simply iconic,” as a sixth chimed in: “The entrepreneur we never knew we needed.”

The difference now is I’m very much aware of what this all is. I can’t be surprised or hoodwinked anymore, because I’ve experienced it all,” she explained.
She said her latest single Fantasy was a love song, and is “about feeling safe enough with your partner to shamelessly explore your fantasies”. She added: “I can’t wait for my fans to experience more of my musical world.” The video to the racy track was filmed in Los Angeles, and directed by the legendary David LaChapelle, and is heavily inspired by the 1970s, with a scene dedicated to the iconic horror movie Carrie.
