Ohio Senator JD Vance, who is now vice president-elect, has thanked his running mate Donald Trump following their victory in the 2024 presidential election.
"THANK YOU!" Vance wrote on X, formerly Twitter on Wednesday morning.
"To my beautiful wife for making it possible to do this.
"To President Donald J. Trump, for giving me such an opportunity to serve our country at this level.
"And to the American people, for their trust. I will never stop fighting for ALL of you," he said.
Trump announced Vance as his running mate in July. With Trump's victory, Vance is now set to be the next US vice president.
