Country star Jelly Roll hit back at a person who posted a negative comment on his social media after he shared a photo of himself alongside Jack Black.
The singer and rapper performed Ozzy Osbourne's song, "Mama, I'm Coming Home," in honor of the rocker's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night in Cleveland, Ohio. Other musicians inducted into the Hall of Fame on the night included, Cher, Mary J. Blige and Foreigner.
Actor and Tenacious D singer, Black, spoke at Osbourne's induction and other rockers including, Billy Idol and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith also performed.
The famous musicians then posed for a photo backstage, which Jelly Roll shared to his X, formerly Twitter account, captioning the post: "This is crazy."
But one X user, @BlaylockHaden, reacted to the photo in a way that annoyed Jelly Roll.
"Jack black looking real uncomfortable 🥵," he wrote below the photo.
The musician clapped back: "Jack Black hung out with us for 10 hours in the green room, coolest most comfortable dude I've ever met in my life lol."
Moments after that interaction, Jelly Roll, announced he was quitting X.
"This is for sure the most toxic negative app to exist ever — PERIOD. lol. This place is different man, I always heard it was the Wild West on here but man it's insane . It's a safe place for everyone to say mean s*** to each other with no consequences. I'm out lol," he wrote.
Newsweek contacted Jelly Roll's representatives by email on Monday morning outside office hours for comment.
His post announcing his intention to quit X, happened a day after he threatened to "expose" the music industry.
"Learned a lot about how slimy the music business is this week, don't worry yall know I'm going to expose it soon. This whole thing is smoke and mirrors yall. All that s*** Russ be talking about is REAL!" Jelly Roll wrote on Friday.
But he later called out people for their reaction to the post after it got 9 million views on the social media app.
"Man yall made a mountain out of a molehill with this one. All these weirdly over dramatic comments about selling souls and satanic weird s*** is just weird . lol. I'll be talking about all this on my wife's podcast soon," Jelly Roll wrote.
The "Save Me" singer hit a huge career milestone last month after his meteoric rise to fame by performing during the season premiere of Saturday Night Live's 50th season.
