Jenna Dewan Hit the Red Carpet in a Plunging Blazer in Her First Post-Baby & Post-Divorce Event

Jenna Dewan made a sizzling fashion statement on Thursday, Oct. 24 with a return to the red carpet at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards in Bel Air, California. The 43-year-old actress was on maternity leave after giving birth to daughter Rhiannon on June 14, but she’s here to remind everyone she’s back and ready to turn heads in Hollywood. 

Dewan kept it classic in a sharply tailored black suit that hugged her gorgeous curves. The element of surprise was a plunging blazer that showed off her stunning décolletage, which she adorned with layered gold necklaces. She styled her hair in gentle waves that cascaded down her shoulders and added lots of mascara to make her beautiful blue eyes pop in front of the camera lenses. 

While this is her first post-maternity red carpet moment, it’s also the first time she’s stepped out at an event after settling her divorce with Channing Tatum. It took six years for the former couple to resolve their financial differences tied to the Magic Mike franchise. Tatum built much of his empire during their eight-year marriage which included the trilogy of movies, a Las Vegas show, a reality series, and a stage musical. California is a community property state, so Dewan sought her fair share.  

They were originally set to go to trial in December, per the Daily Mail, but they managed to reach a settlement in September. Tatum sounded frustrated during some of the proceedings where he noted that he made “exhaustive efforts to settle all issues in this matter without litigation,” but there were “significant financial issues in the case [that] remain unresolved,” according to In Touch Weekly. The Blink Twice star blamed his ex-wife for continuing “to delay resolution and provides one reason after another for why this case cannot settle.”

Dewan’s representative expressed that same exhaustion over the case to People in April. “Jenna would certainly like him to do the right thing so everyone can be done with it.” Now that the case is settled, Dewan is free to marry her fiancé of four years, Steve Kazee and Tatum can walk down the aisle with fiancée Zoë Kravitz. The peaceful solution also paves the way for a better co-parenting situation for their 11-year-old daughter, Everly.
