Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially settled their divorce, bringing an end to their two-year marriage, and are now seeking a judge's approval to finalise their split.
On Monday, January 6, Jennifer submitted documents to the Los Angeles Superior Court confirming that the former couple had reached a settlement through mediation in September, roughly a month after she initially filed for divorce. The divorce will be officially finalised on Feb. 20, exactly six months after J. Lo first filed.
Once a judge approves their separation, Jennifer will also drop 'Affleck' from her legal name. The ex-Hollywood power couple won't be paying any spousal support and will keep the earnings from their individual projects and business ventures, according to reports.

Despite their divorce, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are said to be determined to remain in each other's lives.
As for Ben, the 52-year-old star is set to keep the cash he's raked in from his stake in Artists Equity and earnings from blockbusters like The Accountant 2, Flash, Air, Clerks, Deep Water, and Hypnotic. The former flames have also hammered out a deal over their jaw-dropping $61 million Los Angeles pad, though they're keeping schtum on the details.
As of now, the posh digs are up for grabs on the property market, yet there's been nary a nibble from any potential buyers. J. Lo dropped the divorce bombshell on the Gone Girl hunk in August after whispers about their marriage hitting the skids ran rampant all summer.
In their time together, the dynamic duo forged a patchwork fam with the sprogs from their previous unions. And although their love story's wrapped up, pals reckon they're dead set on staying chums for the sake of the kiddiewinks.
Ben's brood with ex-wife Jennifer Garner includes Violet, who's just turned 18, Fin, aged 15, and Samuel, the youngest at 12. Meanwhile, Jennifer's got twins Max and Emme, 16, shared with former hubby Marc Anthony.
A source told Page Six: "Ben and Jennifer are still connected and they do communicate when it involves their kids. They have every intention of continuing to be in each other's lives despite not being romantically involved."
The ring in the new year, the On The Floor singer shared a stunning snap of herself on Instagram, where she posed in a tiny black string bikini. She looked sensational as she flaunted her gym-toned figure in an ultra sultry pose, sticking out her hip and draping her left arm over her right one.
