Jennifer Lopez Cancels ALL Upcoming Appearances -- This Time For A Good Reason! 

Jennifer Lopez is hitting pause on her promo tour, ironically for the movie Unstoppable. But don’t worry, this isn’t a repeat of her canceled This Is Me… Live tour — when she hid out from the spotlight amid her divorce from Ben Affleck (and reports of low ticket sales). Instead, she’s actually canceling for an important reason.

You see, a source close to the pop star told People on Friday that she is canceling all her upcoming media appearances which were scheduled for next week so that she can help out in the aftermath of the LA wildfires. The insider explained:

“It’s important to her to focus on supporting the community of Los Angeles during this very difficult time.”

That’s thoughtful! Hopefully, she’s really doing the work and not just saying so (and avoiding the cameras in case of potential backlash).

The actress was set to head to New York City to appear on The Today Show, The View, Live with Kelly and Mark, and The Tonight Show. Phew. Busy! It’s unclear if she will reschedule. All this is in preparation for her new film Unstoppable, which hits Amazon Prime next week. So, yeah, the timing isn’t great for that, but it’s good to see she’s prioritizing what really matters.

If you don’t know, wildfires have been devastating Southern California beginning on Tuesday. It was that very night J.Lo and her cast were supposed to gather at the DGA Theater for a film premiere, but the event was canceled because of the weather — as the dangerous Santa Ana winds continue to spread the blaze at shocking speeds. So the rollout of this film has been rocky, to say the least!
