Jennifer Lopez made an appearance at the UK premiere of Unstoppable at Cineworld Leicester Square in London on November 5, 2024. The film tells the inspiring story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who overcame the challenges of being born with one leg to win a national wrestling championship in 2011 at Arizona State University.

Lopez dressed warmly in a stylish white turtleneck sweater dress and a cozy matching fur jacket. Robles, who captured national attention in 2011 by winning the NCAA wrestling championship despite being born with one leg, attended the event with his mother, Judy Robles, who Lopez portrays in the film.

"I can't wait for you guys to see this movie!!!!" Lopez said in a post on social media.

"This is my favorite picture from what was one of the most magical nights I think I've ever had with a film. Besides playing Selena, playing the role of Judy Robles and bringing her and her struggles and triumphs with her amazing son, Anthony Robles to life, was one of the great honors of my life.

"These are the type of movies that the world needs right now more than ever. Inspiring, uplifting, exciting and emotional. At times difficult to watch but so real and so moving.

"It's a perfect family movie. It will have you cheering while you hold back the tears. It won't be out until December 6 in theaters but it'll be perfect for everyone to see with your families around Christmas. It is our gift to you to introduce the story of this inspiring UNSTOPPABLE family."

Affleck praised Lopez

The film's director, William Goldenberg, was also present as they celebrated Robles' inspiring story.

This London premiere comes shortly after Ben Affleck, Lopez's recent ex, praised her work in the film. Affleck's production company, Artists Equity, co-founded with Matt Damon, produced Unstoppable, although Affleck did not attend the film's Toronto International Film Festival screening in September.

"Unstoppable is a very different movie than this but in a way it's similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists," said Affleck. "Goldenberg and Jennifer and Don Cheadle and Jharrel, and Bobby Cannavale - all were really passionate about this film."
