Jennifer Tilly Is Really Rich Thanks in Part to Homer Simpson

Homer Simpson plays a major role in keeping Jennifer Tilly looking fabulous!

During a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the ladies bonded over heartbreak and divorce, and Tilly reminisced about her ex-husband.

"It takes a really long time to get over a divorce. My ex-husband was Sam Simon, who [co-created] The Simpsons," Tilly explained during a confessional.

"I was married to him for seven years. We were together for about 10 years, and then when we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement," she shared.

"Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years!" Tilly, who split from Simon in 1991, continued. 

"Honestly, every day, I'm like, 'Thank you Sam!'" the Chucky star quipped.

During the episode, Tilly's co-star Erika Jayne pointed out the Monsters, Inc. star's $30,000 Louis Vuitton boat purse. 

"What Jennifer's holding, that looks like a boat ... It's actually art. And it's actually very pricey. She has very unique pieces. And I know, because I'm looking at them. And I'm coveting my neighbor's goods," Jayne, whose high-profile divorce from Tom Girardi played out on the Bravo series, said.

During an appearance on The Originals podcast, Tilly spoke about the money she still receives from The Simpsons, which debuted in 1989 and is currently in its 36th season on FOX.

She spilled she gets roughly one-third of her ex-husband's massive ongoing earnings from the iconic cartoon.
