Jeremy Clarkson has candidly opened up about his recent heath scare which 'left him in agony,' and has also unveiled the dramatic changes he's had to introduce to his life.
Writing in his column for The Sun, the former Top Gear host recalled the moment he underwent surgery. He has previously experienced warning signs, such as "tightness in my chest" and "pins and needles in my left arm".
Following an ambulance rush to hospital, Jeremy revealed that his doctors warned him he may have been mere days from a more severe health crisis.
In his column, he disclosed that he is "not allowed to have fun anymore" and especially voiced his concern about his new diet, which results in him cutting out everything "he likes eating."
He commented: "The worst problem though is diet. To cut my alarmingly high levels of cholesterol, I need to cut out, completely, everything I like eating.

"Bacon, sausages, beef, lamb, pork, butter, chips, proper milk, Cadbury’s fruit and nut bars and the interesting bit in an egg. I’ve had a week now to live in the new regime and it’s horrific.
"And then there’s Greek yoghurt. What’s that all about?"
He then touched upon his role of owning a farm shop, but can no longer buy meat and alcohol from Diddly Squat. He added: "Instead I have to buy my “food” from some kind of wholefood store that sells nothing but South African nuclear-free peace beans."
Jeremy then made a heartbreaking confession about his grand-children: "I want to see my grandchildren grow up. I saw the dawn this morning and it was magnificent, so I’d quite like to see a few more of those too. Also, I still want to visit the Galapagos Islands.

"To achieve all this, I must live on water and steamed fish, and exercise.
"But it’s going to be my eleventh job. Not dying. Of course, there will be those who say I should have started on this new career path earlier."
A household name for decades, Clarkson has enjoyed a long-standing television career, including a 13-year stint on Top Gear alongside Richard Hammond and James May.
His more recent credits include Amazon Prime's The Grand Tour and Clarkson's Farm and hosting BBC's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? as well as Amazon Prime's Clarkson's Farm.
