Jeremy Kyle shared a picture while wearing a 'man nappy'.

The telly star, 59, hit Instagram with a cheeky post after the dreaded norovirus laid him low. Jezza shared the hilarious pic, donning a groin guard atop his jeans and gurning while giving the thumbs-up to the camera. He captioned the reshared snap on his Insta Stories, saying: "Oh yes, my man nappy after the norovirus bug."

Norovirus, also dubbed the "winter vomiting bug", is a nasty gastro bug that triggers spewing and the runs – it's grim but tends to toddle off after a couple of days. Side effects can span from fevers to pounding heads.

Dymond had a lie-detector test on the show and got fingers pointed at him for cheating, which he fiercely denied. Jez denied egging the crowd on against Dymond.

Following the court's decision not to hold his show responsible for Mr Dymond's death, the host stated that his "conscience is clear". Speaking to The Sun after the conclusion of the inquest, he said: "Let's not forget first and foremost somebody took their life because they were in a position where they saw no way out. I haven't spoken for five and a half years out of respect because there was a legal process that dragged on and on for many reasons."

He went on to say: "It should never have been about me; it's about Steve, and his family. That was my first thought when I found out." He further added: "But my conscience is clear. The coroner was right in that there was nothing I did or could have done to stop this tragedy. I was presenting a show. Steve had been cleared to appear by both ITV's aftercare team and his own GP."

However, Mr Dymond's son, Carl Woolley, released a statement following the ruling. His words, read out by the family's solicitor outside the court, were: "It has been five years since my father died. In my view, anyone watching the clips of the show would see that he was in tears, and spoken to in the most brutal way by Jeremy Kyle."

"The coroner has recorded that the lie detector test, in which Jeremy Kyle believes in so strongly, can have an accuracy of 60-96%. The only good thing that came from my father's death is that The Jeremy Kyle Show is cancelled."
