JESSICA Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson have taken out more than $22 million in loans on their lavish Hidden Hills mansion.

The U.S. Sun has viewed property records which show Jessica and Eric - who are rumored to have secretly split - had four mortgages on their Los Angeles home for $11.5 million.

It's been a difficult journey for the singer and fashion designer, who has been spotted in recent months without her wedding ring.

The pair are yet to comment on split rumors, and they have not yet filed for divorce.

Jessica, 44, revealed on an episode of The Real two years ago that she "drained her bank account" and borrowed against her home to save her "billion-dollar brand."

She bought her Los Angeles home from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne under her "Dixie Trial Trust" in 2013 for $11.5 million.

Two years after purchasing it, documents show her and Eric took out a mortgage for $7,336,000, followed by a second loan for $8,000,000 in 2017, both with JPMorgan Chase Bank.

A third mortgage was taken out for $3,650,000 with Platinum Loan Servicing Inc, and a fourth is listed in documents for $3,045,000 with Bank of Southern California.

It is not known whether they have fully paid off the loans over the years, but they have never defaulted, according to documents.

The pair put their home on the market for $22 million in September 2023, as they began spending more time in Nashville, and it appeared as though the family was relocating.

But the listing was removed in August 2024, and Jessica last shared photographs at the property two months ago.

'RESORT-STYLE GROUNDS'

She can be seen on Instagram posing at the front door with her children, Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, five.

Both Jessica and ex-NFL star Eric, 45, are still listed as residents at the property, The U.S. Sun can confirm.

According to robbreport.com, the home offers eight bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.

The luxury abode is situated in the celebrity-filled guard-gated Hidden Hills, and is described in an online listing as a "sophisticated Cape Cod-inspired estate located atop an intimate cul-de-sac."

It was once featured in Architectural Digest and rests on around 2.25 acres with twinkling city and mountain views.

The 13,274-square-foot property includes a dramatic foyer with a spiral staircase and giant windows, often seen in Christmas photographs posted by Jessica on social media.

It also boasts a formal dining room, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a larger lower-level home theater.

The family room is highlighted by "oversized sliding barn doors, reclaimed brick fireplace, and beamed vaulted ceilings," according to one description.

A gourmet kitchen at the home has top-of-the-range Wolf appliances, a center island, a walk-in pantry, and a cute breakfast nook for family mornings.

The master suite offers a sitting area, stone fireplace, wood-paneled walk-in closet and an adjacent office.

BANKRUPTCY BID

The resort-style grounds outside offer rolling lawns, a spa and shallow pool, with plenty of spots for lounging.

There's also a four-car garage and a guesthouse.

Meanwhile, Jessica has been honest about her finances in recent years as she battled to save her brand, the Jessica Simpson Collection, which she co-founded with her mom, Tina, in 2005.

In 2015, Sequential Brands Group Inc. acquired a majority stake in the business, leaving the star and her mother with a minority stake of 37.5 percent.

But Sequential filed for bankruptcy in 2021, and Jessica and her mom decided to buy back the remaining stake.

A bankruptcy judge approved the star's $65 million bid, which was a mix of loans and family help, according to Bloomberg.

"I drained everything to buy it back," Jessica previously told CNBC.

During her appearance on The Real, she even admitted, "I have no working credit card. It’s OK. I will pay in cash.

"I went to Taco Bell the other day and my card got denied. I'm on a budget, ladies!"

She went on, "With money, there’s just so much fear attached to it.

Jessica and Eric's relationship timeline

The couple is said to be living separate lives but have not filed for divorce.

Jessica Simpson finalized her divorce from Nick Lachey in 2006 and went on to date the likes of John Mayer and Tony Romo.

She then met former footballer Eric Johnson and the pair went public in 2010, with him popping the question just months later in November.

They welcomed their firstborn, Maxwell, in 2012, followed by Ace in 2013, before finally tying the knot in 2014.

The couple then had their third child, Birdie, in 2019.

She previously gushed about the star and said they "rarely fight".

But rumors of a separation have been ripe for several months, after the star was seen without her wedding ring.

She also failed to mention Eric on their 10th wedding anniversary, and he has not appeared in any romantic social media posts.

The last time she shared snaps with her husband was during Easter break with her children, but they were not standing together.

They are yet to shut down rumors they are separated and reps for the pair did not respond to comment calls from The U.S. Sun.

"And I'm the person that you get mad at at the blackjack table. I'll put it all out there if it's me that's driving the show, because I believe in myself and I know what I can do. And I know that nothing will stop me, and if you try to stop me, I'll try harder."

She has been working hard to expand her brand and regularly shares pieces from her collection.

Meanwhile, speculation about Jessica and Eric's marriage began after she shared photos of her posing on Instagram this week after recording new music in Tenneesse.

Alongside the pictures, she said: "Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic.

"This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve."

Jessica and Eric confirmed that they were an item back in July 2010, but are believed to have been dating months before then.

The couple tied the knot on July 4, 2014.

They celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary earlier this year, but Jessica failed to post anything on their special day.
