The Joe Rogan podcast, since it had President-elect Donald Trump as a guest, has maintained an interesting level of interviewees. The most recent was actor Josh Brolin, with whom he addressed the issue of what could have led Sean Pean to meet with El Chapo Guzman, who was once Mexico's most wanted drug trafficker.
Among the guests who attended after Trump were others close to the next US government, such as the billionaire owner of X and Tesla and Vice President JD Vance. Now Josh Brolin participated in Joe Rogan Experience #2232 and threw a dart about his perception of why Sean Penn decided to interview El Chapo, along with Mexican actress Kate del Castillo, in a meeting at his hideout in the mountains of Sinaloa in 2015, which was later published in Rolling Stone magazine.
"You have that thing where you just say, you know what, this is getting boring. The weather's too good here. The weather's too good here... Let's screw things up a bit. Let's do something, let's do something big, let's do something that resonates for at least a year," Brolin said of the fun he found Penn to dare this encounter, which confirmed that he can not only be an intimidating actor on sets.
Joe Rogan credits Sean Penn for El Chapo's capture
In a report on this interview published in Essentially Sports, it was reported that Joe Rogan added that beyond the adventure, Sean Penn can also be thanked because thanks to him the capture of El Chapo was achieved, because the police were able to know his whereabouts.
"If you take your damn cell phone, you're basically carrying a tracking device to go after one of the most notorious mobsters out there today," Joe Rogan said on his podcast.
