British songbird Joss Stone is reeling from the surprise news that she's pregnant again, just weeks after welcoming an adopted baby boy into her family. The 37-year-old vocal powerhouse, mum to three-year-old Violet and two-year-old Shackleton with hubby Cody DaLuz, recently expanded their brood with the adoption of newborn son Bear.
Yet, in a twist that left her fans gobsmacked on Thursday evening, Joss shared that another little one is on the way.
Flashing a pregnancy test in an Instagram video, the star penned: "Honestly. Shocked was an understatement. Nothing and no one can take our joy now. We are so chuffed!!!! Maybe we should call the 'Less is More' tour the preggo tour."
This bombshell drops mere days after the Super Duper Love singer opened up about Bear's delicate health, revealing the tot's lung issues due to his premature birth. In an Instagram clip, Joss, while chilling in her car with Bear, explained: "I am sat in the car with him because he is so little that he can't go out because he was so premature his lungs are a little bit vulnerable. I'm just here with little man hanging out."
She further disclosed that despite advice against taking Bear outside, a doctor's visit was necessary, reports the Mirror.
The pop sensation shared her disbelief, saying: "At the hospital they said: 'Don't take him out anywhere'. But shortly after they said but make a doctor's appointment and I thought: 'Hang on you just told me not to take him out as his lungs are too vulnerable but you want me to bring him to the doctors where there are all these germs and stuff?'"
Earlier, Joss let slip that the adoption process went through "so fast" and showed a snippet of herself breaking the news to her excited kids. However, picking up their new family member wasn't without its hitches – Joss and her partner initially found themselves at the incorrect hospital, baffled about where to head next.
Joss recounted with a hint of humour: "We were in the wrong hospital. I knew it! That's why Tummy Mummy said eighth floor, and the guy downstairs said second floor because they are totally different hospitals!"
In the end, though, they made it, and Joss got to share a tender moment with the baby, sharing with her followers that this beautiful turn of events happened just around Thanksgiving.
