We all love Pink. I mean, how could you not? Between her independent personality and strong vocals, Pink has raised a generation. So it isn’t too far-fetched when you hear that she has some opinions for her husband, Carey Hart, after signing himself up for a reality TV show.
Pink was surprised by her husband Carey Hart’s motives
Pink wasn’t thrilled when she heard her husband had signed up for the newest season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. The FOX series is based on a UK franchise called SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The premise is to take everyday folk or, in this case, celebrities and put them under some of the same grueling tests the special forces endure. Naturally, it is not for the faint of heart (no pun intended.) Pink and Carey married the professional freestyle motocross rider in 2006 and have been very open about their struggles.
According to TooFab, the pop singer was shocked, to say the least, that her husband agreed to appear on the reality series.
When told, Pink’s first reaction was, “‘You’re an idiot!’” Carey joked, “I hear that a lot. It’s nothing new. But she knows my mentality and my personality.” But after a few days to cool off, the What About Us singer had a change of heart. The biker shared, “’And she was like, ‘Look, if you’re going to do it, I support it. And go kick a**!’”‘
Carey is ready for a new challenge
For Carey, joining Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is all about challenging himself even after a “very successful” career. But Carey knows he is “lucky enough to still do it.”
“But I haven’t had a chance to really push and challenge myself since probably my early 30s,” he explained.
Carey noted that if Pink had been offered the same opportunity, she would most likely do extremely well. He said: “I feel like she would kill it. She … Let me choose my words wisely here. She would absolutely kill it because she is physical and coordinated enough to. But I don’t see her doing any of these things.”
