Justin Bieber's wife, Hailey, has been accused of "pushing" the singer to perform in the wake of the P.Diddy scandal.

The Baby star's fans have been worried about him ever since Diddy was charged with sex-trafficking and racketeering in bombshell allegations, which the 54-year-old denies.

Justin, 30, who spent a now infamous 48 hours with the Bad Boy star when he was just 15, is yet to speak out about the scandal. However, he made a high-profile appearance with rapper, Don Toliver, on stage on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Insiders claim that those close to the child star were left confused by the decision to put him on stage and feel it did little to dispel the growing concerns about him.

Claiming it was Justin's wife, Hailey, who has been "pushing" her husband to "get out there", they told the Mail: "It wasn’t Justin’s idea to take the stage. Hailey has been pushing Justin to get out there and show he is okay – but this didn't show that at all.

"What people say about Justin is more important to Hailey than it is to Justin. Those who have worked with Justin think that this did more harm than good."

Giving their take on his appearance at the concert, they continued: "He went on stage looking dishevelled and unkempt and didn't sing a single note. He didn't even try to sing, which left everyone more confused as to what his purpose was in being there at all."

Others reportedly questioned Hailey’s decision to attend the show with Steve Harvey's daughter Lori Harvey, 27, who allegedly dated Diddy when she was 22 and he was 49. Although the socialite denied dating the rapper, they appeared in public together on multiple occasions.

Justin and Hailey have kept quiet about the Diddy allegations, which sent shockwaves through the music industry. After resurfaced clips of Justin and the Bad Boy Records founder came to light, a source recently told US Weekly that Justin was "advised to stay as far away as possible from anything and everything related to Diddy".

They added Justin wants "nothing to do" with Diddy, and claimed the Lonely singer is "in a hard place mentally", adding that he was "completely disgusted" by the claims. Justin was a young teen when he was seemingly taken under Diddy's wing.

Fans raised concerns of the dad-of-six's behaviour in the old videos. One video of Justin and Diddy features the pair hugging. However, fans have claimed that they think Justin was being checked for a wire. The clip, which is thought to have been filmed back in 2021, sees Combs patting Justin on the back and chest several times.

Sharing the clip on X, one fan speculated: "Diddy appears to be checking Justin Bieber to see if he is wearing a wire in this video." Many agreed with the claims, with another suggesting: "He checking that man out for a wire bro."
