Pamela Anderson has once again proven she is a woman of many talents –– as Kaia Gerber revealed the unexpected role the '90s icon played in her childhood.
"Pamela Anderson was the crossing guard at my elementary school," the 23-year-old model revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter posted on Thursday, November 21. Gerber, who went to school with Anderson's sons, added: "She wore the yellow safety vest and everything."
Gerber went on to reminisce about her childhood, admitting she "didn't know how good [she] had it then." Reflecting on the experience, Gerber –– who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford –– mentioned that Anderson's side gig was the most Hollywood thing that has happened to her.
Anderson, now 57, previously opened up about her stint as a crossing guard at her sons' school. During a 2008 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Barb Wire star described being part of the safety patrol at their Los Angeles school.
"I'm safety patrol on Mondays at my sons' school with the neon vest and everything. It's really hot," Anderson shared. The Baywatch alum seemingly took the task seriously, adding in the segment that she loved being part of her kids' day. "I'm a mom. You have to do it, and I love it."
Anderson shares two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 26, with ex-husband Tommy Lee. The couple's whirlwind marriage began in 1995 but divorced three years later in 1998.
Since Lee, Anderson has been married five other times. She went on to marry Kid Rock in 2006 before splitting one year later. She then tied the knot with Rick Salomon in 2007. After their 2008 divorce,the two remarried in 2014 but divorced again a year later. In January 2020, she wed producer Jon Peters, but the marriage ended just 12 days later. Anderson's most recent marriage was to her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, from 2020 to 2022.
Anderson isn't giving up on the future, however. She revealed in an episode on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2023 that she's not ruling out hope for another marriage, stating, "I still have a lot of life left."
