Kane Brown 'Feels Bad' About Kaitlyn Bristowe Show—'I Don't Hate You'

Kaitlyn Bristowe has revealed that she and the country singer Kane Brown have cleared the air years after he appeared on her podcast.

During the Tuesday episode of her podcast Off the Vine, Bristowe chatted with country star Jordan Davis and reflected on her interview with Brown, recalling how he had spoken very little during the episode. The lack of conversation left Bristowe feeling uncertain about how the singer perceived her.

However, any lingering tension between the two was resolved when Bristowe and Brown crossed paths again at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards in September.

Newsweek emailed spokespeople for Bristowe and Brown for comment on Tuesday.

"I actually had a redemption moment with Kane Brown last night because, I don't know how many years ago it was now, probably like six years ago, he came on my podcast and he didn't say a word," Bristowe explained during her podcast.

"I was trying to like, get anything out of him, I'd be like, 'So, this is happening,' and he's like 'Yeah.' I'm like, 'Oh God, oh God.'

"So then his wife came on, not even that long ago, who I love, and she was like 'Oh my God he still, like, feels bad about that podcast,' and I was like, 'Really?' And so I saw him last night and he's like, 'I don't hate you, I hope you don't think I hate you. And I was like, 'No!'"

Brown is married to musician Katelyn Jae, with the couple sharing three children.

Davis wasn't too shocked by the story, explaining how Brown tends to be a quiet person.

"He is, he is a quiet—I mean, I feel like, yeah, probably six years ago he was probably a lot more quiet than he is now," he said.

"But like, I know Kane pretty well and I can, even sometimes it's just like, 'Alright, Kane doesn't want to talk to nobody today,' even when I was touring with him."

Bristowe said she wished she could be more like Brown, as there are times when she doesn't want to have to speak to people.

"I respect him for it," Brown continued. "I'm right there with you. It's like, I wish that there could be days where I could just be like, 'Yeah, I don't want to deal with anybody today.'"

Later in the episode, Davis revealed he hadn't been invited to the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards, a fact that left Bristowe shocked.

"Shut up, so you're telling me, like, absolute Z-list TikTokers can be on the red carpet and you didn't get the invite? That's stupid," Bristowe said, to which the country singer responded: "Maybe D-list."

Brown explained that he had had a busy week in the lead-up to the music event, so when Bristowe suggested there was a chance he missed the email with the invite, Brown said he "probably did."

The biggest winners at the People's Choice Country Awards were singers Morgan Wallen, who won four honors on the night, and Shaboozey, who was named The New Artist and won The New Artist Song for "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."
