Kate Beckinsale has puzzled fans by vanishing completely from social media.
The actress is famously active on Instagram, sharing her antics with friends, cute snaps of her pets, and glam looks from events with her millions of followers.
However, as of tonight, it seems Kate no longer has an online presence.
Internet detectives have noticed that her Insta profile, where she boasts 5.6million followers, has been wiped.
The 51-year-old has also changed her display picture to black and deleted all of her posts.
After the major change was spotted, it quickly made headlines and sparked concern, particularly since Kate has been known to receive harsh messages from trolls on the platform.
Most recently, the Van Helsing star hit out at comments made about her weight.
Underneath a photo that was deleted shortly after, she was inundated with remarks about her appearance, as well as debates that she had been taking Ozempic to shed pounds.
Declaring that they think she had ‘lost too much weight’, one fan insisted they were not ‘criticising’ her.
Making her thoughts known, Kate fired back: ‘If it’s not a criticism, it’s a passive aggressive, completely unnecessary opinion from someone I don’t know who knows nothing about my circumstances.
‘So next time you feel like commenting on someone’s body, I suggest you keep it to your f***ing self.’
But her rant didn’t cease there, as Kate went straight for the jugular when one troll claimed ‘gaining a little fatter [sic] doesn’t hurt’.
‘Not all of us want t**ties like yours,’ she snapped.
When another asked ‘what happened’ to the movie star, Kate actually wrote back: ‘She’s dead. So please send donations and flowers to @refugecharity and I rescind happy New Year. Happy New Year to everyone but you.’
And when one seemed to feign concern by asking if everything was ‘OK at home’, Kate retorted: ‘Everything is absolutely great f**k off’.
Sadly, this is far from the first time Kate has felt compelled to address trolling online.
Last spring, followers urged her to ‘eat something’ after noticing a change in her body shape.
This came after the death of Kate’s stepfather, Roy Battersby, and amid her mother also battling health problems.
Furthermore, in yet another painful ordeal, Kate was distraught after the death of her cat Clive in 2023.
Responding to the worry of those following her, she said at the time: ‘I have been really sad. I watched my second dad die. It made me sick. Sorry you find me less attractive. Couldn’t give a f**k.’
She continued: ‘I nursed my [stepdad] to his death early this year. My mum also has stuff going on. I am adjusting to watching two fathers die, one when I was 5, one in January of this year.
‘I lost my soulmate cat of almost 19 years, also last year. I spent six weeks in hospital due to copiously vomiting blood from a [Mallory-Weiss tear] caused by the stress of a whole year ripping a hole between my [oesophagus] and stomach.’
She added that she had experienced a ‘severe flare’ of her mast cell disease due to ‘stress, shock, and grief’, also stating that what others think of her looks is ‘not important’.
In yet another Instagram-related drama, the Click star was a hot topic of conversation last May when she seemingly issued a warning to an unnamed abuser.
Alongside a video of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016, Kate wrote that people ‘can’t get away with abuse forever’.
‘You know who you are sunshine. Your time is coming’, she added.
Reps for Kate Beckinsale have been contacted for comment.
