“You must have been in some real pain, I hope you feel better now.😮,” said someone else.

Earlier this year, Beckinsale revealed she had been hospitalized for several weeks as she battled physical health issues.

After fans commented on her thinning appearance, the “Serendipity” star shared that she wound up in the hospital for an extended stay because she was dealing with stress and grief.

“No, actually. I watched my stepfather [director Roy Battersby] die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer, and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief, quite quickly,” she shared.

Beckinsale claimed the trauma she had experienced “burned a hole” in her esophagus, which made her “vomit copious amounts of blood.”

“I found eating very hard and I just worked very very hard on a movie that was actually quite triggering because it also involved the theme of the death of my father so I’m not really concerned about what you think about my ass,” she added.

“Maybe you should worry about your own f–king ass,” the actress told one social media user, who commented that her “ass ran away.”

“Canary Black” is now available for streaming in Prime Video.
