Kate Moss throwing wild birthday bash after splitting from aristocrat boyfriend of nine years

SHE is newly single after splitting from long-term boyfriend Nikolai von Bismarck.

And it turns out last month’s break-up is cause for celebration for Kate Moss, who is planning a raucous birthday party to mark the fact she is back on the market.

For years, Kate lived in the sleepy Cotswolds with photographer Nikolai, who is teetotal and prefers the quiet life.

But she has told pals that she wants her 51st birthday bash later this month to be a big, boozy affair — just like the ones she enjoyed when she was younger.

My source said: “Kate is throwing a birthday party in London on her birthday, January 16, and is inviting all of her favourite people.

“Last year, she celebrated her 50th at an intimate soiree in Paris, which was fairly pared down.

"But a lot has changed since then and Kate has said she wants this party to be like turning over a new leaf.

“Now that her daughter Lila is all grown up and she is single again, Kate feels like she wants to let her hair down and be carefree — which is not something she’s been able to do for a long time.

“She is looking on the bright side of life. Although it’s sad her relationship is over, she is throwing herself back into her social life and embracing the new year.”

Kate and Nikolai started dating in 2015 and, since then, she has been living a more wholesome life.

As well as more time spent in the countryside, she launched her wellness brand, Cosmoss.

But it sounds as though the fun and flirty Kate will be back with gusto. A source said when the couple split: “She felt they were going on different journeys in life.

“And, at 50, Kate feels fabulous and she wants to get back out there and have some fun.”

It sounds like she will certainly be doing just that.

…while Naomi Ramps things up

THE course of true love never runs smoothly. Just ask Naomi Campbell.

While her pal Kate Moss is newly single, supermodel Naomi is once again off the market after reconciling with her German DJ boyfriend Rampa – three weeks after I revealed they had split.

They unfollowed each other on Instagram and she deleted a raft of gushy comments from his posts after calling time on their romance.

But some festive cheer clearly did them good and they’ve now reconnected in person and on social media – with Naomi back to leaving heart emojis under his posts. That’s love, eh?

It remains to be seen whether Rampa will be invited to Kate’s birthday blowout with Naomi.

But he finishes a string of shows in Mexico three days before the bash, so he should have plenty of time to jet to London.

I first told how Naomi and rising star Rampa, inset above, were an item last summer after she flew to be with him in Mykonos, Istanbul and Ibiza.

I expect to see Naomi behind the decks with him again soon now they’ve buried their troubles.

Sydney’s Sweet on Diamond

SYDNEY SWEENEY has outed herself as a Neil Diamond superfan after belting out Sweet Caroline with her mates.

The Euphoria star shared some of her final snaps from 2024 on Instagram.

As well as making lying down on a jet ski look easy as well as sexy, Sydney dressed as a bikini-wearing sumo wrestler and mucked about with her mates in a private villa – including singing along to the hit tune.

Sydney wrote: “The last few days of 2024 will forever be some of my favourite.” It looks like she had a ball.

I CAN’T BRIE-LIEVE IT! DEPP PANS CHEESE FEAST

LILY-ROSE DEPP loved sinking her teeth into her role in new vampire horror movie Nosferatu.

But taking a bite out of a piece of Cheddar is another matter.

It turns out the French actress and daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis has a terrible fear of fromage.

On the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, she confessed: “I hate cheese. I really hate it.

“I’m French, I should like it, but I hate it to the point where if my friends bring it to my house, it has to be gone once the night is over.

“You have to take it home – I don’t want it in my fridge.

“It’s like a phobia. I really hate it. I don’t get why people like it.”

Her latest flick, which is a remake of a horror classic, came out on New Year’s Day – and it sounds like she is relieved it’s over.

Lily-Rose, left, said: “It was a beautiful, unforgettable experience, but it was intense.

“There’s a real darkness and a heaviness to the story and I feel I carried that with me while we were shooting. When we finished, I was like, something’s been released from my heart.”

I guess her next role won’t be with cheese-loving Wallace & Gromit.

Cardi’s in the pink

THE best way to get over a break-up is with a new look – and that’s exactly what Cardi B is doing as she channels her inner mermaid.

The American singer looked off the scale with new pink hair and a pretty pastel dress – which had the words “cute but psycho” printed down the side to tease that she’s got a darker side.

Cardi unveiled her makeover hours after her soon-to-be ex-husband Offset was spotted out in Dubai with his new missus.

He was seen splashing over £80,000 in the Chanel store with model Melanie Jayda during a break from his gigs in the country.

Cardi told fans he has been dragging his heels over dealing with divorce papers that she handed him a couple of months ago.

She’ll be fuming because if there’s time to shop, there’s time to sign!

VANESSA WILLIAMS has temporarily pulled out of West End show The Devil Wears Prada after the death of her mum.

She wrote on Instagram: “On December 28th, the world lost a powerhouse, dynamo and force of nature packed into a 5ft frame. Our mom, Helen Williams, took her final bow in London.”

Vanessa will miss shows from January 8-16.

Kanye’s sheer joy

PEOPLE said it wouldn’t last, but Kanye West and Bianca Censori are proving everyone wrong.

The rapper shared saucy snaps of his wife in a sheer top on Instagram ahead of their two-year anniversary.

The couple got hitched in December 2022 shortly after Kanye divorced Kim Kardashian.

They have made plenty of headlines since then, with her barely ever wearing clothes and him often spouting nonsense online.

Last year it was claimed Kanye and Bianca had split, but it looks like they are back on good terms.

I give it three months before it kicks off again.

NEIL’S GLASTO GIG BACK ON

HE was adamant he would not be performing at Glastonbury this year, claiming it had become a “corporate turn-off” because of its broadcast deal with the BBC.

But Neil Young appears to have a slight case of dopey old bloke syndrome.

Just a day after I revealed he had pulled out of the festival, he has issued a retraction and U-turned on his decision, claiming he got the wrong end of the stick.

In a fresh statement yesterday, Neil said: “Due to an error in the information received, I had decided to not play the Glastonbury festival, which I always have loved.

“Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing!

“Hope to see you there! LOVE Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts.”

It’s welcome news for organiser Emily Eavis, who now won’t have to find a last-minute replacement for June’s event.

And she was very gracious about the whole thing, especially as Heart Of Gold singer Neil had slagged Glasto off in his original statement . . . 

Confirming my story from last month revealing Neil was booked to play a headline show on the Pyramid stage, Emily wrote online yesterday: “Neil Young is an artist who’s very close to our hearts at Glastonbury.

“He does things his own way and that’s why we love him.

“We can’t wait to welcome him back here to headline the Pyramid in June.”

She’s better at biting her tongue than me.
