Katie Price's baby bombshell as she shares real reason behind her new 'triplets'

2 hours ago 3

Katie Price has opened up about the unique additions to her family, in the form of three reborn dolls.

The 46-year-old baffled her followers back in October when she posted a picture that seemed to show two newborns without their faces visible.

Earlier this month, she shared a video revealing that the snap was of two of her three new life-like dolls.

The reality TV personality says that while some may think adults with reborn dolls are "mad", she insists there's a deeper reason behind it.

Speaking on her podcast The Katie Price Show, she said: "I haven't got twins, I've got triplets.

"I don't know how it happened, I think I was looking for real life babies at the time.

"And I found this company that do babies for this reason," she added.

Katie went on to read out a statement from the doll company's website, explaining the multiple benefits of the dolls.

"They help with people with social anxiety, communication difficulties, those who have suffering grief from a loss of a baby, PTSD, infertility, anxiety and depression," she noted.

"Furthermore, it has been proven to have therapeutic benefits, particularly for people with Dementia where the doll can spark memories of their own children."

Katie says her own fertility struggles has left her feeling "lonely", leading to experiences of depression and anxiety.

"So, it is a serious thing," she said. "I never spoke about it, but when I got them, I took a risk of 'Do I post it or not?', because it's not a gimmick thing."

Katie, who is already a mother to five children; Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, Princess, 17, Jett, 11, and Bunny, 11, gave fans an insight into her fertility struggles on her Channel 4 show Making Babies.

With the support of her ex Carl Woods, she was seen having hormone injections, blood tests, scans, and a surgical procedure to retrieve eggs in the hope of defying the odds.

After three failed IVF attempts, the reality star is now eager to explore further options for a baby with her current partner, Married At First Sight's JJ Slater.

Expressing hope, she added: "I can still carry a baby, I can still try one of my one per cent eggs or surrogacy, there's lots of way.

"Anyone in my position, you don't need to give up, there are ways, I still want kids and I'm not giving up."
