Katie Price's ex, Kris Boyson, says he feels sorry for her as he shares worrying insight

Kris also talked about his new relationship and how his life has dramatically changed since splitting from Katie.

Katie Price's ex, Kris Boyson, has said he feels 'sorry for her' as he shared a worrying insight into her struggles. 

Fitness instructor Kris opened up about his past relationship with Katie during an interview with The Mirror at the Tulleys Christmas Light Festival launch.

Kris, 36, told us: "Deep down I think she's a really decent girl, I just think she's got a lot of issues she needs to fix. I feel a bit sorry for her now. I think people have their struggles, everyone's got struggles in life and unfortunately hers have played out in the media for everyone to see."

He also shared how his life has changed drastically since his split from the former glamour model, saying: "I'm a completely different person." He mentioned being in a new relationship but wanted to keep his girlfriend's identity private.

Kris told us: "We've been together for a while, I've never really spoken about it. It's nice to have a private life for once. It's nice to keep certain things private."

The event, held on Friday, also saw the attendance of Katie's other exes, Carl Woods and Kieran Hayler. Katie was in an on-and-off relationship with Carl from June 2020 until December 2021. She met Kieran in 2012, and they married in the Bahamas in January 2013, marking Katie’s third marriage, before their split in 2021.

Kris proposed to Katie in 2019, but they called off their relationship by the end of that same year after the mother-of-five admitted to cheating. It followed on from the scandal that erupted in October when Katie hit headlines for having a fling with builder Charles Drury in Turkey.

Katie is currently dating Married At First Sight star JJ Slater. Last month, she was accused of being interested in JJ while still in a relationship with her ex, Carl.

Carl, 35, claimed that Katie, 46, had her eyes on Married at First Sight UK (MAFS) star JJ, 32, even when they were together. He's said that Katie asked him if he knew JJ when they watched his series of the E4 show. He told the Sun in a new interview: "We watched that series of [MAFS] and she asked me if I knew him as he was an Essex boy. She was lining him up. I wasn't shocked when I heard they were together as she had made that comment."

He's also accused Katie of continuing to message him after moving on with JJ. He said that Katie went skiing with JJ on Carl's birthday in February but was messaging her ex in the "lead-up of the trip," adding that there were "even" texts on Valentine's Day. Sharing his thoughts, Carl told the outlet that Katie "moulds" herself into "perfect woman" so that "you're always chasing that dream," but he said it's a "façade". The former Love Island contestant said he doesn't know who the "real woman is".

After an on-off relationship, Katie and Carl split at the end of last year, with Carl alleging he walked out because he'd had enough, as reported by the Daily Star. Katie and JJ went public with their relationship in February this year.

The mum-of-five has been engaged eight times, with three ex-husbands: Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran. She's been engaged to Warren Furman, Scott Sullivan, Leandro Penna, Kris, and Carl.
