Katt Williams was one of many stars to attend the GQ Men Of The Year event Thursday (Nov. 14), taking the time to troll fellow funny man Faizon Love, claiming to own a pig named after the actor.
In a clip captured on the red carpet by GQ, Williams claims with deadpan delivery, “I have a pot-bellied pig named Fat Faizon who is like, just, a real joy to be around.”
Williams also made a grand entrance onto the red carpet with a troupe of country dancers breaking it down as he strolled in. Check that out below.
The term “fat Faizon” stems from Williams’ infamous Club Shay Shay sit-down with Shannon Sharpe, where he coined the phrase and claimed the Elf actor attempted to downplay his ability to lock down several Netflix specials.
“I only put on comedians that are funnier than me. Anybody tell you different is a fat Faizon liar…Faizon said that getting a Netflix special is easy, I have 12 specials, guess how many Faizon got? Zero. Why is he allowed to have conversations about real stand-up people? We do not let people who are on the juice discuss real athletes, that’s all!” He also took shots at Faizon’s acting chops.
Love took to his social media accounts to address Williams’ claims, saying he believes the comic was “calling for help.”
“It’s hard to address lunacy, and hypocrisy, and downright ignorance,” he begins. “But it’s so funny how many people think this dumb, stupid motherf**ker is spittin’ truth. But that’s the internet I guess, you guys want to believe in something so bad. Listen to what he’s saying, he’s actually calling for help. He’s calling for help. None of the sh*t he says lines up with nothing.”
