KeKe Palmer Says Ice Cube Warned Her About Industry Men

Keke Palmer has been in the entertainment industry since childhood and says that when she was a teen, rapper Ice Cube tried to keep her safe by warning her about men in the industry.

Keke says they were both on set for The Long Shots movie and says she was told he wanted to speak with her.

“He didn’t say too much – a man of few words. But very nice and one day they were like, ‘Ice Cube wants to speak to you,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay…’ So they call me into a room and he’s like, way far distant from me and it’s some bodyguards there. And I’m [thinking], ‘What we about to talk about?’ You know? And he’s like, ‘I just want to tell you, Keke,” she said. “You’re a beautiful young lady, and I see how kind you are and how nice you are to everybody on the set.”

Cube warned her to protect herself and not to let the men take advantage of her.
