 'Made Me A Whole Human'

Kelly Osbourne is loving her life as a momma.

In a new interview with US Weekly on Tuesday, the 40-year-old gushed about her life — especially her new roles as a wife and mother. Despite her addiction and other struggles throughout her life, she wouldn’t change a thing, as it all led to her son. Kelly told the outlet everything changed for her once little Sidney — her first child with husband Sid Wilson — was born:

“I truly believe my baby saved me and made me a whole human. I don’t think I knew what love was before having a baby.”

When discussing the “progress” she’s made over the years, she said she can’t “complain” because of her wonderful family:

“My life has come very, very far. What could I possibly complain about? I work, I have an incredible partner and an unbelievable baby who has completely changed me.”

The TV personality confessed everything is so much better, she doesn’t even remember what life was like before her son:

“I don’t remember life before having the baby because everything has changed. I didn’t realize just how powerful the feeling of love was [going to be] when you have the baby. It’s the most … addictive feeling I have ever felt. You realize in that one second, ‘You’ve given me purpose like nothing has ever given me before.’ I don’t think I had purpose. I went from thing to thing to thing, and this level of self-hate and self-doubt that I used to have would just take me out.”

Wow. To hear the little guy gave her a purpose like never before — we’re so glad to hear the toddler has made such an amazing impact! Kelly hasn’t always had the easiest time, so it’s great she feels she has so much more strength as a mom.

All in all, Kelly said he came at just the “right time” for her to be the best version of herself:

“I don’t believe God would’ve given me a baby during a time when I wasn’t mentally or physically prepared for it. [When] I was still actively drinking, still actively using … I would’ve been a terrible mother. I wasn’t selfless enough. I’m so glad it happened when I was a little older and I had my s**t together.”

Sidney will be turning 2 years old on November 6, btw. Where does the time go, right?!
