Kelsey Parker has embarked on a new relationship following the death of her husband, Tom, in 2022

Tom Parker's widow Kelsey has shared her belief that he has helped her find love again after his devastating death.

Chasing the Sun singer Tom tragically passed away in March 2022 at the age of 33 following a battle against brain cancer - leaving behind wife Kelsey, 34, and their children Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four. Since Tom's passing, Kelsey has embarked on a new romance with 27-year-old tree surgeon Will Lindsay.

The pair have been linked since September, and Will has been credited with helping Kelsey mend her shattered heart. The author herself has revealed that she has introduced Will to her children and that they are enjoying getting to know him as their relationship develops.

In a new interview, Kelsey has explained that she believes Tom has been guiding her heart from above and helped bring her and Will together. She also explained that she has been able to share her grief with her new boyfriend as he has suffered a crippling bereavement of his own.

Opening up to the MailOnline, the mum-of-two said: "I definitely think he’s very special and I do feel like Tom had a little sprinkle of magic in me meeting him." When asked why she thinks this, Kelsey said: "I don’t know, it’s just everything about him. He’s so lovely, caring and kind. He sadly lost his dad when he was 21, so he understands the grief and what my kids are going through, so he can really be there. He is also a massive pillar of strength for me."

Kelsey went on to explain that she is helping her children celebrate their birthdays while navigating the ongoing pain they are facing by growing up without their father. She told the publication: "Bodhi turned four yesterday, and I can’t actually believe it. I was 35 weeks pregnant with him when Tom was diagnosed [with a brain tumour] so I feel his whole life, for the past four years has been so crazy. Thankfully, we’re in a good place and we celebrated yesterday, but I’ve not even thought about Christmas yet. I’ve been so busy with work and moving forward with life."

Last weekend, Kelsey shared a heartbreaking poem about loss, dedicated to Tom. It said: “Dear Daddy. You told me that you will always be watching me from the sky. Today I am here looking for the most shiniest star that would be you looking at me. Daddy, if I could have one wish, It would be to have you here with me to tell you hoe much I miss you, to tell you what a great Daddy you were, and to wish that you would never leave me again. I love you Daddy.”

The post drew emotional responses from Kelsey's followers, with one writing in response: "He lives on in Aurelia and Bodhi ... they are him." And another wrote: "Sending you and your lovely little ones so much love. Tom is so present in them both."
