Former Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson posted an empowering message on her Instagram account to respond to criticism she has received for her weight gain, making it clear that she is aware that she is no longer a Playboy girl, but that she is now happier than ever enjoying a new stage in her life and mainly her family

"Yes, I have gained weight. Yes, I'm getting older. Yes, I'm not the girl I used to be, but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy," the former American model wrote on her Instagram account.

"For once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy," wrote the businesswoman, who along with her message shared a selfie where she is seen in sportswear and loose hair, leaving aside the glamour and sexiness that characterized her for years as a "bunny."

In her message, she also stressed the importance of giving time to her children and family, which she takes care of, as she does not have nannies

"The kids are my everything. I feel quite balanced. Working and cooking a lot more. I play golf, I work. No housekeeper or nanny," said the former model in her message to show that she leads a more balanced and healthy life

The former model claims she feels good at almost 40

In her message, Kendra also addressed the criticism she has received from those who point out her weight and her face as she approaches 40

"For those who hate my new weight, my 40-year-old face, please know that I am happy, healthy and at peace in life finally. Leave me alone and respect that I am where I really want to be, at almost 40 I feel amazing," Wilkinson said

The former Girls Next Door star also addressed criticism of her alcohol consumption, saying she will take steps to better control that part of her life

"And yes, the people who criticise my alcohol intake I hear them, and that will be better monitored. Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much, but you know what comes in JUNE... Shots. I love you," she concluded her Instagram message.
