Kerry Katona's fashion brand risked with closure in weeks as threat of assets seized looms

Kerry Katona's fashion brand, Kerry's Boutique, is risking being shut down after being notified that steps are in place to potentially strike off the business from the register

Kerry Katona's fashion brand could be about to close in just weeks.

The business, called Kerry's Boutique, launched in 2020 and quickly became a success as the former Atomic Kitten star's fortunes changed. However, according to new documents filed to Companies House, Kerry's brand's assts could be about to be seized.

Earlier this month the brand was issued with a First Gazette which notified Kerry that steps were in place to potentially strike off the business from the register. The document, filed on October 8, read: "The Registrar of Companies gives notice that, unless cause is shown to the contrary, the Company will be struck off the register and dissolved not less than two months from the date shown above.

"Upon the Company's dissolution, all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the Company are deemed to be bona vacantia, and will belong to the Crown."

Currently, the Companies house information states the business' latest accounts are overdue. The company's social media has been inactive in recent months, too, with no Instagram posts for 15 weeks.

Recently, Kerry admitted she won't be giving up her OnlyFans account as she continues to reap the reward of the adult content site. Her revelation comes after she confessed her being on the site hadn't been easy for her 16-year-old son, Max.

"All of my children have had a tough time, but Max perhaps a bit more than the others because of who I am," Kerry told OK! in a chat alongside Max. "It is harder for boys and kids do say mean things to him. At the end of the day, I'm his mum so it's going to hurt his feelings," she added.

Max also admitted: "I have had a lot of cr*p said to me at school about my mum doing OnlyFans, but I've always had cr*p about what my mum does – it hasn't been the best," He said he has had to endure classmates saying "horrible" things about his mum that he'd prefer to not repeat. Max confessed that when he was younger, he would often react to bullying by getting into fights.

He went on: "Someone once showed me a topless picture of my mum on the beach and we had a fight. It does make me angry because I love my mum. All my friends who know her really love her, too. The mum you read about isn't the mum who I know."

As well as being mum to Max, Kerry is mother to Molly, 23, Lilly, 21, Heidi, 17, and DJ, 10.
