A number of celebrities have criticised Los Angeles politicians as the backlash from the devastating wildfires intensifies.
Wildfires have spread across the Golden State for the last six days, with tens of thousands of acres of land turning to ash and rubble. It is left many homes burned to the ground and so far killed 11 people as six separate blazes caused havoc.
Officials have warned that the barely contained Palisades, Eaton, Kenneth, Archer, Hurst and Lidia infernos will continue to spread throughout the state, wafted onwards by strong winds. Now, as fury begins to grow in the community over funding cuts in the area and how it has affected the rescue efforts, a number of celebrities have voiced their concerns. Among them are Khloe Kardashian.

She shared a clip of and interview by Gigi Graciette who shared the concerns of Fire Chief Kirstin Crowley, who had hit out at the city's leadership. She had admitted it had failed those affected by the fires and prevented the LA Fire Department from effectively doing its job.
Khloe shared the interview on her Stories and wrote: "I stand by YOU Chief Crowley!!!! You spoke the truth and you had tears in your eyes because I can tell you didn't even want to say that but it was THE TRUTH!!!! Thank you for being honest @losangelesfiredepartmnet Chief Crowley. Mayor Bass you are a joke!!!!" She followed it up with a number of further posts and thanked the rescue services for their efforts.
Her words come as The Hills star Spencer Pratt revealed he intends to file a lawsuit against California for its alleged negligence after his home was tragically burnt down in the Pacific Palisades fire. The reality TV star had earlier shared the devastation of his home's demise on his social media account.
He shared the property with his kids and wife Heidi Montag. Heidi also took to social media in tears as she spoke of the couple's loss of their home, which was worth around $3million. Now, Spencer has insisted that he called 911 and informed them that if they sent 'one fire truck' to his street that they "could stop [the fire from] coming down the whole freaking area".
He said he was then told that the fire department didn't 'have the assets to help with his request. Other stars who have been affected include Paris Hilton. The socialite revealed she watched her house get destroyed by the flames live on television. The reality TV star has launched an emergency fund to support families displaced by the wildfires, kickstarting it with a personal donation of 100,000 dollars (£82,000) after she watched her Malibu home “burn to the ground on live TV”.
“While I’ve lost my Malibu home, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more – their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability,” she wrote on Instagram. Paris lost her home in the Pacific Palisades fire which broke out on Tuesday and remains the largest fire devastating Los Angeles, having destroyed more than 21,000 acres. She said the donations will provide short-term housing and cash assistance to families, deliver essentials to evacuation centres and support local animal shelters.
