Khloe Kardashian praised the “true heroes” who are fighting the California wildfires as concern grew for her sister Kourtney’s mansion in nearby Calabasas. She also shared a video of the damage from the wildfire and wrote, “Absolutely devastating.”
“To all the firefighters in first responders, thank you for your unwavering dedication and courage in the face of these devastating fires in California,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram story. The story was still visible on January 8.
“Your selflessness resilience and tireless efforts to protect lives and communities are deeply appreciated. You are a true heroes and we are incredibly grateful for all you do,” she wrote. “Please know that your sacrifice does not go unnoticed and we stand with you in gratitude and support.”
“Praying strongly that these winds died down and no more homes are lost Lord. Praying for everyone’s safety. This is so sad and scary,” Khloe Kardashian wrote.
According to DailyMail.com, concern was growing that the fire could spread to Calabasas, where Kourtney Kardashian lives with her family, although it has not as of yet. According to CNN, “Some 37,000 residents of the cities of Los Angeles, Calabasas, Malibu and Pacific Palisades and of unincorporated areas of Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles County were under evacuation orders.”
Kris Jenner Called the Fire Damage ‘Absolutely Heartbreaking’

“It is absolutely heartbreaking to watch the fires consume our beautiful city. To see people’s homes, memories and entire communities going up in flames,” Jenner wrote.
“It’s difficult to comprehend the immense loss so many are facing, and my heart aches for those who have been forced to leave everything behind,” she added. “We are so grateful for your bravery and selflessness. This is just unimaginable. Please everyone, be safe.”
Kourtney Kardashian Lives in a $9 Million Calabasas Home

She purchased it from NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson in 2014, according to Page Six, which added that the mansion covers 11,500 square feet.
It is located in a neighborhood called “Estates at the Oaks,” according to Page Six, and “consists of six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a playroom . . . a spa, sauna and even an elevator.”
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass wrote on X on January 8, “All @LAFD air operations in the Palisades have resumed after being grounded due to extreme weather conditions. LAFD helicopters are back to dropping water and hundreds of firefighters continue to be on the scene to help respond to the #PalisadesFire and #HurstFire.”
CNN reported that the Palisades fire “has burned more than 5,000 acres and destroyed about 1,000 structures so far,” as of January 8.
