The 2025 NFL draft order is finalized, with quarterback-needy teams making up the top three. One of the top signal-callers is Shedeur Sanders, who reacted to the draft order on his podcast on Tuesday.
"I love it," Sanders said when asked what he thought about the Titans picking No. 1 overall.
"I've been doing a lot of thinking," he added. "What's meant to happen is going to happen. I don't feel like God would put me in a place I'm not supposed to go. We've made it everywhere we've gone and been successful. ... I'm happy with the order. Whatever happens happens."
Sanders has made it publicly known where he might want to play, with the Giants being one team after he had custom cleats made when it seemed like New York would own the first pick. They possess the third selection.
Sanders also hinted at wanting to play for the Raiders when he posted a picture of Allegiant Stadium with the caption "Legendary." That was before Las Vegas won two of its final three games and played its way out of the top three. They're now slated to pick sixth.
Sanders will compete with Miami's Cam Ward for the first quarterback off the board. In our latest projections, Ward went to the Browns, and Sanders landed with the Giants.
