Khloé Kardashian 'prays' for Los Angeles as wildfire forces loved ones to evacuate

Thousands of firefighters have been deployed to fight unprecedented fires in the Pacific Palisades area of California. The location is known for being a “celebrity” neighbourhood and Khloé Kardashian is taking to social media to personally thank the people saving lives this January.

The California wildfires struck on January 7 and have seen “at least 49,000 residents” having to evacuate, according to NBC News. Some of those include Kourtney Kardashian Barker‘s step-children, Alabama and Landon Barker.

The Kardashian-Jenner family is known to reside in the Calabasas and Hidden Hills areas of California.

As Los Angeles has been declared in a state of emergency, the family has been affected by the wildfires as Kourtney’s stepkids had to evacuate their home.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Khloé, who doesn’t live far from Alabama and Landon, thanked the people risking their lives to put out the fires and rescue people.

“To all the firefighters and first responders – Thank you for your unwavering dedication and courage in the face of these devastating fires in CA…” Khloé writes.

“Your selflessness, resilience, and tireless efforts to protect lives and communities are deeply appreciated. You are true heroes, and we are incredibly grateful for all you do. Please know that your sacrifice does not go unnoticed, and we stand with you in gratitude and support…” she adds.

Khloé continues: “Praying strongly that these winds die down and no more homes are lost, Lord. Praying for everyone’s safety. This is so sad and scary!”

The Barkers have to evacuate

The raging fires caused Travis Barker’s kids to have to evacuate their house.

Alabama took to Instagram to say she’s “praying” for Los Angeles at this time.

She also urged her followers: “Please be safe!” adding: “They are saying the fires are spreading football field amounts in seconds.”

When it comes to the home Alabama is referring to evacuating, Daily Mail suggests it could be Kourtney or Travis’.

“…it’s likely they meant their father’s $2.8M five-bedroom house in The Oaks of Calabasas… Alabama and Landon could have also been referring to their stepmother Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s nearby $8.5M six-bedroom mansion in The Estates at The Oaks.”
