Every year, the Kardashians throw a huge and glamorous Christmas Eve bash with all the family and A-list guests. However this year, Khloe Kardashian, and her two young children, were forced to give it a miss.
The annual celebration is a family tradition that’s been going since 1987 when Kris Jenner first hosted, and the big do has evolved from just being family, to friends and other big celebrity names. In recent years, Kris’ daughters, Kim and Kourtney have taken turns hosting the party. But this year, Khloe and her kids, True, 6, and Tatum, 2, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson, weren't able to go after falling ill.

I feel so terrible for my sick littles.” Khloe added: “No fun, but I pray we are fine for Santa tomorrow!!!”.
Khloe’s sister Kim, who hosted last year, previously revealed that the 2024 party wouldn’t be as big as other affairs. Speaking to Vogue, Kim explained: “Just because we have a lot of construction going on, so we're doing a really intimate family one that I'm really excited about.”
But having building work at the house won't stop the family getting all glammed up. Kim added that the family would still be ‘dressing up to the nines’ because ‘that’s what we do’.
Last year, Kim held the celebration at her house where she had a mix of real and fake snow covering the mini evergreen forest in her garden. There was also a cozy pop-up ski lodge where the main party happened. Inside, there was a sweet shop, a ball pit, a stuffed animal workshop, a beignet bar, a hot dog on a stick stand and a bar. The stars also got to enjoy sledding with Kim saying she’d brought the ‘holiday magic’.
Kim, who shares North, 11, Saint, nine, Chicago, six, and five-year-old Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West, says that her children’s friends have started saying they want to go to the party too. She said: “They're just beginning. Our kids love them and now all their friends want to come. It's such a fun tradition.”
Kourtney previously told Poosh that the Christmas Eve party had been going ‘since I was born’, and that it was ‘fun’ to see how each other sisters ‘bring it to life in unique ways each year’.
