Kieran Culkin thinks his kids are too young to watch “Home Alone.”
“There’s still some scary parts,” the “Succession” star, who acted in the classic Christmas movie with his brother Macaulay Culkin, explained to E! News Monday at the 2024 Gotham Awards in New York City.
Kieran, 42, and his wife, Jazz Charton, share two children: daughter Kinsey, 5, and son Wilder, 3.
“For the 3-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers.’ That’s scary for a 3-year-old,” the Emmy winner said.
While Kieran teased that Kinsey and Wilder “might be ready for ‘Home Alone’ this year” anyway, he shared that he may wait until “next year” to put it on.
Macaulay and Kieran starred as cousins Kevin and Fuller McCallister, respectively, in 1990’s “Home Alone” and 1992’s “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.”

Macaulay, 44, previously shared that he screened the original film, which made him a household name as a child, for his son Dakota in December 2022 when the boy was only a year old.
“He thinks it’s so funny,” he told “Entertainment Tonight” last year.
“I convinced my oldest that he’s the kid in the movie. I said, ‘Remember you had yellow hair? Remember when you were getting the bad guys?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah!’ He is such a liar. I’m like, ‘You don’t remember any of that.'”
Macaulay and his longtime partner, Brenda Song, share two sons: Dakota, 3, and Carson, 1.
The boys made their first public appearance at their dad’s Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony last December, where the “My Girl” star called them and Song his “three favorite people.”
Macaulay and the “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” alum, 36, have been a couple since 2017.
