Kim Kardashian went to special measures to keep her kids away from Kanye West's Grammy Awards backlash.

The reality star and trainee lawyer opted for a mother-daughter night out, taking her eldest, North, to see 'Wicked' at the Hollywood Pantages Theater on Sunday (02.02. 25). The pair enjoyed their outing just as North's dad, Kanye sparked backlash at the Grammy Awards with his wife, Bianca Censori.

The 47-year-old music mogul turned heads when he showed up at the star-studded bash in Los Angeles on Sunday night with his wife Bianca, who stole the spotlight as she shed her coat to unveil a transparent dress. However, before the scandal broke, Kim ensured that their children were entertained.

An insider told Us Weekly: "It looked like they had fun and enjoyed the show." While there were whispers that the couple had been ejected by security, the Mirror was informed that Kanye opted to exit the Crypto.com Arena of his own accord post-red carpet walk.

The confusion comes as Page Six claimed had they were ushered out after "the crazy outfit moment they pulled on the carpet". The publication said they were told the look “was an attempt to replicate the album cover of Kanye's 2024 album, Vultures. On the cover, Bianca is seen standing backwards wearing nothing but thigh-high boots and a tiny bit of fabric covering her behind.

It was also noted that Bianca's daring ensemble didn't spark any formal complaints. Kanye was in the running for Best Rap Song at the Grammys with his track 'Carnival' featuring Ty Dolla $ign, but he didn't hang around to see if he snagged the award, which eventually went to Kendrick Lamar for 'Not Like Us'. Post-event, Kanye hit up Instagram to compliment Bianca for her jaw-dropping red carpet look.

Kim, a self-confessed 'Wicked' aficionado, previously treated her family to an exclusive home screening of the musical's film adaptation last October. The star-studded event included not just her children, but also momager Kris, sisters Kourtney, Khloé, Kylie, and their little ones, with special appearances by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, stars of the movie.

Despite her bustling social life, sources last year spilled that Kim's main focus is her role as a mom. Post her whirlwind romance with Pete Davidson, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' alum is reportedly too wrapped up in her brood and business ventures to entertain the dating scene.

A confidant revealed to PEOPLE: "She's not even dating anyone now. It's all about work and the kids." With her hands full managing family duties and her Skims clothing empire, Kim isn't rushing to put romance back on the table anytime soon. An insider revealed: "Although she has help, it's still a lot of work for her to balance and coordinate everything."
