In a series of photos shared on Instagram on Nov. 1, Dax rocked a pink suit and tan cowboy hat as David Koechner's character Champ Kind.

Kristen was Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy in a retro burgundy suit with a matching tie, a brunette wig, and a fake mustache.

Next to Dax and Kristen were two children (with their faces covered by pumpkin emojis) who were most likely their daughters dressed up for Halloween as well.

The oldest, Lincoln, wore an orange leather jacket and tan plaid pants, like Paul Rudd's character Brian Fantana.

Her little sister Delta was Steve Carell's oddball character Brick Tamland, wearing a blue suit with a brown-and-blue tie. Like their mom, the girls wore funny brunette wigs to complete the costumes.

Finally, Anna rounded out the costume in a stylish pair of tan slacks, a matching vest, and a pink shirt as Christina Applegate's ambitious character, Veronica Corningstone.

Kristen's Instagram post was captioned, "Ladies and Gentlemen the Channel 4 news Team!"

Based on the media included in the carousel, Dax also built and operated a hayride for the holiday festivities. "And thank you to everybody's favorite neighborhood gearhead for the most epic hayride!!! (@daxshepard)," she continued in the caption.

It's hilarious because Kristen and Dax could've easily been Veronica Corningstone and Ron Burgundy, but they switched it up with Anna Kendrick.

There have been many, many epic Halloween costumes from celebrities this year, but in my humble opinion, Ron Burgundy, Veronica, and the boys of Channel 4 News take the cake.
