Kyle Richards’ Ex Mauricio’s Alleged Text Threatening to Call Police Being Used as Evidence

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards’ estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s alleged private communications are being used as evidence in his family’s restraining order battle, In Touch can exclusively report.

In Touch obtained the alleged text that was submitted in court by Simin Tabibnia, the ex-girlfriend of Mauricio’s 81-year-old dad, Eduardo Umansky.

Last year, Mauricio, 54 and his sister, Sharon Umansky Benton, were appointed as conservators of their father’s estate.

The duo claimed Simin had been isolating their father and they had concerns about his well-being. On top of that, Sharon was granted a restraining order against Simin over alleged abuse.

Simin accused Sharon of being the aggressor but the court did not grant her request for a restraining order against Sharon.

In October 2024, Sharon, on behalf of her father Eduardo, filed for a “elder abuse” restraining order that would prohibit Simin from coming near Eduardo.

Sharon accused Simin of being an “abusive” girlfriend to her father.

In the petition, Sharon wrote, “Around 10 years ago were the first signs of threats and abuse but it was difficult to understand exactly what was happening. Around August or September 2022 was when things began to escalate.”

Sharon added, “My father started having bloody arms and bruises. She would hurt him, when he would grab her arms, she would bruise and then threaten to send him to jail for abuse. As his daughter, I am trying to protect him from living out the rest of his life under duress.” In her filing,

Sharon continued, “We have known about some of the abuse including verbal threats, sexual manipulation, physical violence and filed a police report but my father is a battered boyfriend and has early signs of dementia and refused to press charges for fear of the threats that Simin has posed on him for many years.”

Sharon claimed her father had been physically harmed and had “several signs including bloody arm from nails and teeth digging into his arms.”

Mauricio’s sister said their dad was “very depressed” and had been “isolated from friends because [Simin] hides his phone and deletes friends contacts from his phone.” Sharon accused Simin of having “financially … manipulated [Eduardo] with threats, violence and sexual favors for money.”

“It is getting more violent, and I’m worried of escalation,” Sharon said in her petition. Simin denied all allegations in the petition filed by Sharon.

“[Sharon’s] claims that I am physically abusive are also untrue and ironic. For a long time, I have endured a lot of violent physical abuse from [Eduard],” Simin said.

Simin said that she had been in a relationship with Eduardo for over 18 years until they broke things off recently.

Simin told the court, “During that time, I endured ongoing physical, verbal and emotional abuse. I now fear for my safety due to [Eduardo’s] actions.” Simin claimed Eduardo has “physically abused me on multiple occasions resulting in injuries.”

She detailed alleged incidents where he punched her in the face, punched her in the arms, struck her in the legs and shoved her to the ground and choked her.

Simin’s petition included photos of her alleged injuries caused by Eduardo.

In her filing, Simin said Eduardo had been “relentlessly harassing me, calling me and texting me over 100 times since the restraining order was filed, and often, and multiple times a day.”

She said, “These calls are continuous and persistent, with the most recent calls occurring on December 4, 2024.” On top of that, Simin claimed Eduardo’s family has sent text messages, threatening to call the police if she answered any of Eduardo’s calls or text messages.

“These threats have caused me immense stress and fear,” Simin said. She attached an alleged text message Mauricio sent to her daughter.

Mauricio wrote, “Sharooz, I am sorry to have to say this and write this text to you.”

He continued, “Regarding your mom and my father, I want to remind you and her that she cannot be speaking to my father. We are aware that my father is calling her, despite this she is still picking up when she is not allowed to. We don’t want to but are prepared to bring this to the police if she continues. Please make sure she is aware.”

The court granted Eduardo a temporary restraining order but has yet to rule on Simin’s request but a hearing has been set for later this month.
