Kyle Richards Finally Talking About Her Evolving Sexuality Amid Morgan Wade Rumors -- And How Her Daughters Reacted To The News!

1 week ago 2

Kyle Richards is opening up about her sexuality like never before.

As we’ve been reporting, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been caught up in some serious romance rumors with singer Morgan Wade. Even before she and husband Mauricio Umansky called it quits, she was seen getting SUPER close to Morgan, which fueled all kinds of romance talk. The pair were always so close and acting all coupled up, so it was hard not to eventually assume something was going on! We mean, matching tattoos?? And of course when Kyle and Mau eventually did break up, that seemed to be the confirmation.

However, despite all the coziness, Kyle and Morgan never explicitly confirmed a romantic relationship. They always maintained they were just friends. But now the Bravolebrity confirming she’s NOT single has thrown gasoline on that rumor again. And now she’s taking it a step further by addressing her sexuality — which she says has been changing of late!

In a new episode of PageSix‘s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, the 55-year-old admitted she was “terrified” to talk to her kids about her evolving idea of her own sexual orientation:

“It was the most difficult conversation I’ve ever had with my children and I was terrified to have that conversation. I just wanted to be as honest as I possibly could.”

She went on to say she started to question her sexuality after the rumors of a relationship with Morgan gained traction:

“There were stories out there about me and … this did make me wonder, you know, and question myself.”

She didn’t come out, but this did feel like a soft launch of her LGBT identity as she described the change:

“I really never thought like this before. This is not the way I was raised. That’s not the way my mind even operated.”

It wasn’t easy to tell her kids. But as she told the outlet, her daughters Portia, Alexia, Sophia, and Farrah are her “best friends” — and she wanted them to know everything:

“And all of a sudden I was thinking like that and I wanted to be as honest with them as possible because they are my best friends.”

Plus she wanted her kids to feel just as comfortable if they needed to discuss something difficult like this with her:

“I like to lead by example and I thought, ‘You know, if this is what I’m going through and feeling, I want them to always feel comfortable enough to share with me the hardest conversations and know that they’ll be accepted no matter what.”

Aww… So sweet.

Her daughters accepted her newfound fluidity with open arms, according to Kyle. And they couldn’t have been happier for her, which she described as her “most proud moment as a mom”:

“Having that conversation, their reaction and response to me, I thought, ‘Wow, I mean, I’m just so impressed by these four women in front of me. And I thought, ‘Maybe, just maybe, I did do a good job’ — because that was my most proud moment as a mom, just seeing how they all reacted.”

LOVE!

Their mother-daughter dynamic seems to be just perfect, too, as after the “difficult” part was over — the “jokes” ensued:

“For me, to have their support — regardless of what happens in my life — means the world to me. They just want me to be happy. After we got past that difficult part of the conversation, the jokes that have ensued! I have been teased by some of them, too, which is fine. But it’s been great and it’s been actually amazing for our relationship, too.”

Ha! As it should be! But let’s get down to brass tacks here! DOES SHE have a relationship with Morgan? Well… It kind of sounds like not anymore!

The actress said things have settled down a lot. Kyle’s life in the spotlight proved to be a bit much for the up-and-coming country singer:

“I think she just didn’t want any part of anything to do with my role [on] reality television and all that came with it. And, you know, the paparazzi and all that was very overwhelming. So I understood that and respected that … I am an open book, but I cannot speak to other people’s lives of experiences when they have not signed up to do this and don’t want to be a part of this … I think anybody would be overwhelmed in that situation.”

Damn. Makes complete sense. The Real Housewife life ain’t for everybody! What do U think about all of Kyle’s confessions, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments (below).
