Latin Grammy Awards 2024: Date, time, where it takes place and where to watch this year's awards ceremony

After the ceremony was moved outside the United States for the first time in 2023, the Latin Grammys return to the US to recognize the best of Latin music. As is traditional, this awards ceremony takes place at the end of the year, after the nominees were revealed at a ceremony on September 17. This edition is also very special, as it will mark the 25th edition of this awards ceremony of the Latin Recording Academy.

Among the nominees are names such as Shakira, Karol G, Bad Bunny, Angela Aguilar, Peso Pluma, Edgar Barrera and Kali Uchis.

Composer and producer Edgar Barrera appears in nine of the 58 categories that make up this year's list: Songwriter of the Year, Producer of the Year, Record of the Year (for his participation as producer on Karol G's 'Mi Ex Ten?a Razon'), Album of the Year (for Carin Le?n's 'Boca Chueca, Vol. 1'), as well as three nominations for Song of the Year for the songs '(Entre Par?ntesis)' by Shakira and Grupo Frontera, 'Mi Ex Ten?a Raz?n', by Karol G and 'Seg?n Qui?n', a collaboration between Maluma and Car?n Le?n.

Meanwhile, Karol G and Bad Bunny are in eight categories each. The Colombian is nominated for Best Urban Fusion/Performance, Best Reggaeton Performance, Best Urban Music Album, Best Urban Song, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Record of the Year.

In the case of the Puerto Rican artist, he is nominated for Best Urban Fusion/Performance, twice for Best Reggaeton Performance, Best Urban Music Album, twice for Best Rap/Hip Hop Song, Record of the Year and Best Short Form Music Video.

This year, two new categories were added: Best Latin Electronic Music Performance and Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album, for a total of 58 categories.

The 2024 Latin Grammy Awards will take place on November 14, 2024, and after a stop in Spain for 2023, this year it will be held at the spectacular Kaseya Center in Miami, at 20:00 ET/17:00 PT

The broadcast will be on the TNT signal, while streaming will be available on HBO Max.
