Wax figures can be both beautiful and terrifying, and when we think of celebrity works of art, the first place that comes to mind is Madame Tussauds Wax Museums. Marie Tussaud was born Marie Grosholtz in 1761 and inherited Dr. Philippe Curtius’ wax exhibition after The French revelation in 1794.
In 1835 she established a base in London with her sons at ‘The Baker Street Bazaar, and following her death in 1850, her family kept expanding the business and opened attractions around the world. They have locations on five continents and in the USA in Hollywood, Las Vegas, Nashville, New York, and Orlando.
Every year celebrity wax figures are added to museums with Latino representation. Latin American and Hispanic figures who have shaped the world sit in various museums offering fans the opportunity to get up close and personal with a life-like statue of their favorite star.
