Latto stars in a Nike NOCTA ad promoting the brand’s new AF1 colorways and apparel, including NOCTA tech fleeces, towels, and other items.
The full clip, which was released on Tuesday (Dec. 10), finds the rapper cast as the owner of “Big Mama’s Mini Market,” billed as a “one-stop shop for everything you need.”
In addition to the new Air Force One colorways, which include cintron tint, palest purple, and pink, the Mini Market also hawks faux NOCTA branded items, such as cereal, listerine, bubbles, freshener, and other products.
The storefront also promotes standard market fare like hot and cold sandwiches, cold cuts, coffee, tea, soda, and vegetables.
The short includes an appearance by Olympian and track star Sha’carri Richardson, who makes a brief cameo while sharing that she’s the proprietor of Mama’s Salon, which sits directly next door to Big Mama’s Mini Market and boasts having “the fastest nail-tech in town.”
In a show of support, rapper Drake, who launched Nike’s NOCTA line in 2022 also shared the commercial on his Instagram accounting, writing, “BIG MAMA GON GET YA RIGHT,” in the post’s caption.
This past weekend, NOCTA held an official Big Mama’s Mini Market pop-up shop in Miami, Fl., where attendees were granted early access to the new NOCTA Tech Fleece and AF1 Love You Forever collection. The pop-up also included free nail appointments, Caribbean food, and music by a rotation of DJs.
