Liam Gallagher is having a tranquil room built so he can sit and listen to the songbirds at the bottom of his garden.
The Oasis rocker owns a mock Tudor mansion in a leafy part of north London which backs onto woods. And he’s just submitted plans to have a shed demolished and replaced with a glazed garden room around twice the size of the existing rickety structure.
The plans have just been submitted to his local council for approval and will sit in a shady spot under mature trees. It will give the star - famous for the ballad Songbird - the chance to enjoy peace and quiet as he prepares for next year’s long-awaited Oasis reunion.

Liam has promised that existing trees will not be chopped down to build the 2.5m high structure.
A report reveals: “It is proposed to prune the canopy of G5 back to the boundary to facilitate construction of the garden room. The proposed pruning shall not have a significant impact on tree health or local levels of visual amenity.”
Liam is also having his very own Wonderwall built at the £4million mansion. He has been told he can replace a rickety wooden fence and gates with a more secure boundary.
Builders will construct a metre-high brick wall and install metal security gates at the pad. His design team told the council the works will be of a similar height and dimensions to the rotting fence.
He will have two sets of double gates for cars and a smaller pedestrian entry.
An officer ruled: “The application has been made under section 192 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and relevant amendments. This is not a planning application but instead the applicant seeks confirmation that the proposed development is lawful.
“As such, the impact of the proposed development of the neighbour’s amenities or the character of the area cannot be taken into consideration for this submission.”
His plans are under lawful development so they do not need the council’s green light, he just needs a certificate of lawfulness.
