The Wolverhampton lad's body was finally laid to rest in a heartbreaking ceremony last month in Buckinghamshire, over a month after his shock passing. Now, investigators in Argentina are to examine CCTV of the fall itself to inspect the incident.
According to local media Infobae, Liam's death was instant after he hit the base of a parasol that had been placed in the restaurant area of the hotel. Now, police will look into the moment Liam hit the ground, as the footage had not yet been examined by prosecutors.
The terrifying incident was caught on camera, with the data being handed into police by the Sacro restaurant, located right next to the hotel that Liam had been staying in. Presiding judge Laura Bruinard also ordered for statements to be retrieved from the main suspects involved in the singer's death - including good pal Roger Nores, as well as several staff members at the hotel.
On top of this, Judge Bruinard also ordered that examinations on electronic devices held by suspects and witnesses should be carried out. This includes the hard drive that was handed into police by the nearby restaurant.
Roger Nores continues to deny any involvement in Liam's death, while he remains under investigation for abandonment - which could have been a factor in the singer's shock passing. Hotel staff members are also being looked into for the facilitation of narcotics, as it is believed Liam was given drugs less than 24 hours after passing a drugs test.
It comes as more details about the investigation into Liam's death emerge, including the fact that his psychiatrist refused to treat him any longer. She also had given him a chilling warning through a note that urged him not to mix alcohol with antidepressants, as it could be fatal.
Narcotics had been found at Liam's hotel suite shortly after his death, which - when mixed with a depressant such as alcohol - can only make symptoms of depression worse. The information was discovered after Liam's dad Geoff emailed authorities in Argentina last month as the family continue to search for answers.
