Liam Payne’s family pay tribute after his death
Danielle Peazer, former girlfriend of the late Liam Payne, has finally broken her silence following the One Direction star's tragic passing in Argentina.
Sharing a heartfelt statement on her Instagram Stories, the 36 year old social media influencer and ex-backing dancer on X Factor expressed her sorrow, requesting privacy as she mourns.
Danielle, who was romantically involved with Liam from 2010 to 2012, entreated her followers to look after their well-being and committed to "share more" about her emotions when she feels "mentally strong enough to face the reality of what's happened."
A decade after their split, in 2022, Danielle and Liam briefly rekindled their relationship and were seen departing London's Nobu Hotel in Shoreditch together, also being spotted at celebrity-frequented locations such as Chiltern Firehouse and Annabel's.
Despite the brief revival, Danielle moved forward with her life, dating ex-Capital FM DJ and Dancing On Ice 2021 winner Sonny Jay. They proudly welcomed their daughter into the world in May this year.

Addressing the devastating news on Instagram today, Danielle disclosed: "Over the last few days I've been trying to process the news of Liam's death. Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to call, text, or DM sending condolences and offering support. I'm so grateful and it's helped more than you know.", reports the Mirror.
In a touching yet sombre note, she expressed her overwhelming sorrow, stating "In time I will share more, but right now I don't feel mentally strong enough to face the reality of what's happened. Like all of us, I too am grieving, and need to take some time to do that privately. It's a heartbreaking time, which has already been made so much more challenging due to receiving negative and misinformed comments as well as pre-conceived judgement from those who don't personally know me, Liam or anything about our relationship over the last 14 years."
She poignantly concluded by saying, "I will be back soon when I'm ready, but until then please take care of yourselves and each other."

This heartfelt statement followed an emotional tribute posted by Liam's sister Ruth Gibbins, who candidly opened up about the devastating loss.
As she honoured her late brother, Ruth admitted being "in awe" of his musical prowess and lamented that he longed for recognition of his talent, albeit "the world was not always kind" to him. Amidst this tragedy, their father embarked on a journey to Argentina to oversee the repatriation of Liam's remains, during which Ruth, aged 33, offered her moving homage to him on her Instagram feed.
