Liam Payne's First Posthumous Single Sets Release Date

Liam Payne‘s legacy will live on in his music — including in a song that will be released just days after his death!

On Monday, it was announced that the One Direction alum’s first posthumous single, with collaborator Sam Pounds, will be released on Friday. Friday! Wow! Already??

The music producer shared the news on X (Twitter), revealing all the info on the track, which is called Do No Wrong:

“I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed. I pray angels will comfort you all everyday while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to [his sister] Ruth, [his son] Bear, and the entire family. I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. Along with the original track, which Liam’s sister Ruth helped write, a live mix and a cappella version will also be released. This comes after the 31-year-old, who had struggled with addiction and mental health for years, fell to his death in Argentina on October 16. At the time of his death, he had been working on an unreleased second album but was dropped from his record label, Capitol Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music. It remains to be seen what they’ll do with the music they still have in the vault…
