Liam Payne wrote his girlfriend a devastating love note about their future just weeks before he passed away.
One week after the former One Direction star, 31, tragically died in Argentina, his girlfriend Kate Cassidy released another moving statement on social media. Sharing a series of photos of her and Liam, she revealed the couple were "manifesting" their lives together in the weeks before his death.
The heartbroken woman revealed that Liam had written her a romantic note - which he asked her not to read - in which he said that they would get married within a year. The note read: "Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444." The number 444 is considered an angel number, with special significance.

I wish you could see the huge impact you've had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone-millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.
"You are because I can't say were - my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into. None of this feels real, and I can't wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I'm struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side. Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things.
"Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I've lost the best part of myself. I can't imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life."

It said: 'Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.' Liam, I know we'll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You'll always be with me. I've gained a guardian angel."
Concluding her shattering post, Katie wrote: "I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go. Forever yours, Katelyn 444." Kate also shared a number of photos of her and Liam, including a black and white one, another of them hugging and another in which they were dressed smartly at an event.
One of the photos was a selfie taken by Liam of them at Disneyland. Liam tragically died a week ago after he fell from the third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires. In an official statement given to The Associated Press, Argentinian police disclosed that the father-of-one had "jumped from the balcony of his room", apparently dispelling any notions of an accidental fall or foul play.

Kate had been with Liam in the days leading up to his devastating death, before returning to her hometown in Florida, United States, to take care of their dog.
While in Argentina together, Kate and Liam had been to see the singer's former bandmate, Niall Horan in concert. Throughout their holiday, which was originally scheduled to be five days, both Liam and Kate had kept fans entertained on social media.

@kateecass/instagram)Days after Liam died, Kate shared a statement expressing her grief and admitted she was "at a loss" as she wrote on her social media page: "Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you'll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private. Liam, my angel.
"You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam." Liam and Kate had recently moved into a Spanish-style rental mansion, costing $9,500 (£7,340) a month, and he had given his fans a sneak peek into his new abode on Snapchat.
