A red lorry filled with cola, gifts and festive delight is set to tour various cities in the run-up to Christmas, but it's not from the brand you might be thinking of. Although Coca-Cola has announced the return of its iconic truck, there is another brand going on a UK tour.
Supermarket chain Lidl has revealed its own Christmas cola truck, which will embark on a nationwide tour next week. The lorry will grant wishes, distribute over 2,000 gifts, and offer festive coupons for your holiday food shopping.
Lidl's popular Freeway drink has been transformed into a massive 15-tonne, 20-metre long, and 5-metre high lorry. With a Freeway label wrapped around its cylindrical body and a realistic pull-ring back hatch, the truck is designed to spread Christmas magic across Great Britain.
The truck will visit nine cities, emphasising the joy of giving, sharing, and making wishes this Christmas with a pop-up wonderland at each stop. Over 2,000 gift boxes filled with items from Lidl's famous Middle Aisle are stored inside the truck, ready to be given out to the first visitors at each location.
Some of these boxes may even contain a 'Golden Ticket'. This will allow shoppers to win their Christmas food shop at Lidl, reports the Daily Record.

Marketing boss Joanna Gomer spills the beans: "Giving back to the communities we serve is really important to us and our exciting new Freeway truck allows us to get right into the heart of them this year."
"By touring nine stops across the country, we'll be using our giant truck to hand out present boxes, give away festive food shops and grant wishes that will make dreams come true. Look out for the Freeway truck on its tour and most importantly, come join the fun."
